Automotive giant Stellantis has opened a host of branded eBay stores to sell car parts and accessories in the UK.
The eBay outlets are intended to offer drivers a quick and simple route to buying genuine parts to repair or upgrade their vehicles.
To begin with, the Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Jeep, Peugeot and Vauxhall brands have all received their own dedicated eBay UK stores.
They will soon be joined by stores for the Citroen and DS Automobiles brands, along with one for new-entrant Chinese marque, Leapmotor.
Stellantis will offer an array of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts through its eBay stores, including for both current and classic models.
Car parts from Abarth to Peugeot
The new parts and accessories sold through official eBay outlets will be made to original standards and backed by relevant manufacturer warranties.
At launch, the Fiat store includes items for the 500, 500L, Panda and Tipo. Drivers can find parts for the Abarth 595, 695 and Punto Evo in the Abarth outlet.
Modern Peugeots including the 208, 2008, 3008 and 5008 are all supported, plus there are parts and accessories for most Vauxhall models.
Official eBay stores are a growing trend with car manufacturers, providing a simple way to offer parts directly to consumers.
Jaguar Land Rover’s Classic department opened an eBay outlet in 2023, providing a selection of parts for older models.
Making parts shopping easier
Colin Start, marketing director for parts and service at Stellantis UK, said: “Our customers already shop on eBay, so it makes sense for our brands to be there too. As expectations continue to evolve, these official stores make it easier for owners to find genuine parts and accessories for each of our brands, whether they drive a new model or one that has been on the road for years.
“This is an important step in strengthening our digital aftersales offering, and we look forward to bringing more brands and products to customers over the coming months.”
Abir Tewari, UK director of commercial operations at eBay UK Ltd, added: “With the launch of official Stellantis branded stores on eBay, owners now have direct access to a wide range of genuine, original equipment manufacturer parts and accessories across multiple popular brands. The branded stores make it much easier for owners to shop confidently for products designed specifically for their vehicle.”
Stellantis plans to expand its eBay offering in the coming months, with more stores and a wider array of parts to be added soon.
