Enjoy yachting? Like Alfa Romeos? Good news: you can now combine your passions, following the launch of Alfa’s new Edizione Luna Rossa models.
Created in partnership with the Luna Rossa America’s Cup sailing team, the new special specification is available for the Junior, Tonale, Stelvio and Giulia model ranges.
All four models gain a Luna Rossa makeover, including both new exterior and interior styling details.
It follows an extreme Luna Rossa version of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio super saloon, which was revealed earlier this year.
Production of the Quadrifoglio was capped at just 10 examples, but there is no limit on numbers for the new Edizione Luna Rossa offerings. Order books will open on 1 December 2026.
Sailing-inspired style for Giulia and Stelvio

The Alfa Romeo Giulia saloon and Stelvio SUV are said to demonstrate the ‘most exclusive spirit’ of the Edizione Luna Rossa series.
Both come finished in white as standard, with black and Etna red paint colours available as options. Carbon fibre is used for the red Alfa Romeo badges and side mirrors, while the Giulia gains the same side skirts found on the Quadrifoglio.
The Giulia also wears bespoke 19-inch alloy wheels in a dark finish, while the Stelvio SUV uses 21-inch versions. Red-painted brake calipers are included, too.
On the inside, extended leather upholstery is matched with Luna Rossa inserts and carbon fibre trim on the dashboard. A red Alfa Romeo badge on the steering wheel provides the finishing touch.
3D knitted material inside

The Junior and Tonale compact SUVs are likely to be the bigger sellers in Edizione Luna Rossa guise. Their grey paintwork is inspired by the colours of the lifejackets worn by the Luna Rossa crew.
Gloss black is used for the bodykit, along with the new alloy wheels, while distinctive Luna Rossa body stripes run along both cars’ flanks.
More red Alfa Romeo badges are found inside the Junior and Tonale, with each car gaining unique seats as well.
Luna Rossa logos feature inside both SUVs, plus there are nods to sailing in the graphics of the Junior’s dashboard and centre console. In the Tonale, the ambient lighting creates a geometric pattern reminiscent of boat sails.
Most distinctive of all is the 3D knitted fabric used for the seat upholstery in both compact SUVs. Said to be similar to sports clothing, it uses ‘continuous thread processing’ to minimise waste.
A bond between land and ocean

Orders for the Edizione Luna Rossa models can be placed from 1 December 2026, with the first deliveries to customers expected in early 2027.
Alfa Romeo gave the new nautical-inspired models their public debut in Naples, ahead of the second Preliminary Regatta for the 2027 America’s Cup.
Santo Ficili, CEO of Alfa Romeo and Maserati, stated: “Alfa Romeo and Luna Rossa are two authentic expressions of Italian excellence, united by the same ambition to bring to the world the constant ability to innovate and a quest for performance that accepts no compromises. This partnership goes far beyond sport and is fueled by shared expertise, technology and vision, with the aim of continually pushing the limits.
“Today in Naples, on the way to the first America’s Cup held in Italy, this bond takes on an even stronger value and the new Edizione Luna Rossa is its most concrete expression, bringing to the road the pride and passion that make Made in Italy unique in the world.”
