The 2026 Rebelle Rally will be the first test for the Countryman Untamed, a new Mini with enhanced off-road ability.
Revealed earlier this week in Lake Tahoe, the 2027 Mini Countryman Untamed Edition features a range of modifications to suit driving on country trails.
Mini’s family SUV will first have to prove itself in one of North America’s toughest off-road arenas, continuing a long tradition of Minis in motorsport.
The Rebelle Rally is the longest competitive off-road navigation rally in the United States – and the first women’s endurance off-road event, too.
Competitors in the 2027 Rebelle Rally will cover approximately 1,500 miles of rough terrain across Nevada, California, and Utah, all without the aid of GPS navigation systems.
The BMW Group has competed in the Rebelle Rally since 2018, previously entering a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. However, this year is the first time Mini has been officially represented.
Rebelle Rally: a test of teamwork

Driving the Mini Countryman S All4 Untamed Edition on the Rebelle Rally will be Felicia Killman and Erika Ferrer.
Killman, from Lacey, WA, is a longtime Mini enthusiast and accomplished rally competitor. She will be on driving duties for the Rebelle Rally.
Erika Ferrer is a member of the BMW Group corporate communications team in Mexico, and brings plenty of motorsport experience. Originally a team manager, she has since won three consecutive regional rally co-driver championships. Ferrer will be responsible for navigating the Rebelle’s tough terrain.
Ahead of the event, Felicia Killman said: “Being part of Mini’s first Rebelle Rally is an incredible opportunity, and now that we’re at the starting line, the excitement is real”.
Erika Ferrer added: “The Rebelle Rally is as much a test of judgement and teamwork as it is of the vehicle”.
Ready to uphold Mini motorsport honor

The 2027 Mini Countryman S All4 Untamed Edition gains a 0.6 inch suspension lift, a set of bespoke 19-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tires and a special calibration for its steering, ABS, and stability control systems.
A standard trailer hitch provides a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 lb, with the roof able to hold up to 661 lb when stationary.
Three exclusive colors are offered for the Untamed Edition: Hideaway Grey, Nomad Blue, and Frozen Nomad Blue. New Dark Steel accents also mark it out from a regular Countryman.
Prices for the Untamed Edition in gasoline Countryman S guise start from $43,990. Mini will confirm costs and availability for the all-electric version soon.
The 2027 Rebelle Rally begins on Thursday 8 October 2026. We’ll have to wait until Friday 16 October to see if Mini can claim victory, though.
