2026 Kia Sportage
© Motoring ResearchKia does not hang around when it comes to updating its models. The fifth-generation Sportage SUV only appeared in 2021, but the company has already treated it to a comprehensive overhaul.
A radical new design language is the biggest talking point, as is the upgraded panoramic dual 12.3-inch digital display, which incorporates wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for all versions.
Gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid drivetrains remain, although the electrified duo gain more power than before. New sporty S and rugged X-Line trim levels have been added, too.

2026 Kia EV9 GT
© Motoring ResearchThe EV9 GT is the most powerful three-row SUV that Kia has ever produced, with an estimated 501 horsepower available from its dual electric motor setup. This results in acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
Another first for Kia is the use of electronically controlled suspension on an SUV model. Huge upgraded brakes are on hand to slow things down, plus Kia has introduced “Virtual Gear Shifts” to replicate the experience of a paddle-shift transmission for added driver engagement.
Bespoke styling details, and the generous use of lime green detailing, mark this out as the fastest EV9 of all.

The WKNDR’s suspension is lifted, with the obligatory off-road tires also fitted. A modular interior can adapt to an endless number of needs, including a “Gear Head” accessory that offers outside storage for equipment when the cabin is needed for living space.
Solar panels and hydro turbine wheels are used to help recharge the PV5’s batteries.
