Nissan has unveiled an exciting new concept car at the 2026 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.
The 2026 Nissan Sentra Spec-V Concept pays homage to the 35th anniversary of the legendary two-door Sentra SE-R, which debuted in 1991.Â
A Spec-V version of the fifth-generation Sentra SE-R was launched in 2002, although the model range has drifted away from tuning and performance influences in more recent iterations.Â
The new Spec-V Concept should help change that perception, though, thanks to a heavily modified version of the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine found in the regular Sentra.Â
Bolting on a large Garrett G25-550 turbocharger, along with various upgraded internal parts, has resulted in more than 300 horsepower at the wheels.Â
This more than doubles the amount of power found in a regular Sentra, and is combined with a six-speed manual transmission taken from a Nissan Juke Nismo RS.
R35 GT-R Nismo parts included

A dramatic Bomex widebody kit gives the Sentra Spec-V some serious visual bite, as does a gigantic rear spoiler taken from the Nissan R35 GT-R Nismo.Â
Bespoke Nismo coilover suspension lowers the car over 19-inch forged alloy wheels, plus there is a custom side-exit exhaust for good measure.
The interior features a pair of bucket seats also taken from the R35 GT-R Nismo, along with a bespoke steering wheel and custom seatbelt harness bar.Â
Appearing alongside the Spec-V Concept at SEMA will be a trio of modified Nissan Z cars, including the open-top Z Kaze revealed earlier this year.
Sadly, Nissan says there are no plans for any of the new vehicles displayed at SEMA 2026 to make production.Â
However, certain parts may become available for purchase in the future. And the company points out that previous concepts shown at SEMA have influenced its showroom vehicles.
Celebrating a shared passion

“Nissan has always had passionate fans who aren’t shy about telling us what they love and what they’d like to see next, and we love that – a lot of us at Nissan are enthusiasts, too,” said Kim Less, vice president for aftersales at Nissan Americas.Â
“These projects are a chance to have some fun with that shared passion, take inspiration from our fans and our own teams, and show what’s possible with cars like the Sentra and Z.”
The 2026 SEMA Show will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and runs from Tuesday 3 November to Friday 6 November 2026.
Truck and SUV-based concepts from Nissan will be also revealed closer to when the event opens.
