Skoda Fabia No VAT deal

'No VAT' offer on current Skoda Fabia range

Skoda Fabia No VAT dealSkoda is helping shift remaining stocks of the current Fabia range with an aggressive 20 per cent ‘No VAT’ price cut off the manufacturer’s list price.

The No-VAT deal takes up to £2949 off the list price of an outgoing Fabia, which is being replaced by an all new model from early 2015.

Al though the slow-selling £9995 entry-level 1.2 S model is not included in the deal, all other variants are – Skoda illustrates customer benefits by pointing to a £2270 saving on the strong-selling 1.6-litre TDI SE model, taking its price down to £11,910.

The range-topping vRS hot hatch plunges the furthest, with a new price tag of £14,745.

Of course, VAT is still paid – just on a retail price 20 per cent lower than it was.

Because Skoda has now stopped building the current-shape Fabia, stocks are finite, says the firm: brand director Alasdair Stewart thus urges bargain0-hunters not fussed by having the latest new metal to get in fast.

“This is a great opportunity to buy one of our most successful models at an incredible price and we expect this offer to be extremely popular with customers.”

But while the deals are undoubtedly sharp, you may still want to wait for the new car unless saving cash is absolutely vital.

MR has already driven the new 2015 Skoda Fabia, and our verdict? Bigger, bolder and better, it may be more expensive but its many enhanced talents mean it’s still far from expensive.
