Located on the site of Ford’s historic Dagenham factory, a shed houses a remarkable collection of classic Fords. From a Model T to the latest Mustang, not forgetting a mint condition Mk1 Ford Mondeo, several early Fiestas and a plethora of fast Fords – it’s something every Ford fan would be privileged to see.
We visited Dagenham earlier this year for a rare opportunity to see inside Ford’s heritage centre – and the reaction from readers suggests we’re not alone in getting excited by this weird and wonderful mix of old Fords.

So we’re going back for another look – and you can come too.
Yes, Ford’s invited us back to Dagenham and told us we can bring 20 readers along to see its heritage fleet up close and personal.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of joining us, is show us a picture of your classic Ford. This can be through Facebook (comment on this post), by tweeting us @editorial_MR, or tag us in a picture on Instagram (@motoringreseach).
Alternatively, send it in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll collate all the pictures we receive and post them in a Facebook gallery on Friday 16 September. Our Facebook followers can then vote for their favourite cars by ‘liking’ them – and the top 20 will be invited to come along to our special gathering in Dagenham.
The event will take place on Sunday 2 October – so make sure you’re free then, and as a bonus we’ll have a snapper there to capture all the cars in attendance. They’ll then be featured on our website at motoringresearch.com. Your car could also be featured on MSN.co.uk.
We can’t wait to see your classic Fords.
