Insiders have reportedly said there is a “lot of upheaval at the moment,” but production continues ahead of the new Top Gear arriving in the New Year.

Schmitz has appeared on Top Gear previously – when she drove a van around the Nurburgring in a race with Jeremy Clarkson.
