Police appeal to find man who keyed Aston Martin

The Metropolitan Police has released footage of a man who deliberately keyed an Aston Martin V8 Vantage in a bid to trace the offender.

The owner of the Aston Martin parked his car in a supermarket car park in Hackney, east London, on Friday morning, and left his dashcam running.

Moments later, a man pushing a pram pulled out a bunch of keys from his pocket and deliberately ran them along the car’s bodywork, causing £9,000 worth of damage.

Update (19/08/15): 48-year-old arrested

A 48-year-old man has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police in connection with the keyed Aston Martin.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and is being questioned at a north London police station, the Met said.
