Suzuki car range 2017Suzuki’s winter 2017 special offers are out, and headlined by a PCP finance deal on the Celerio SZ2 city car that gives a monthly payment cost of just £89 a month.

A new car is cheaper than a smartphone

The four-year PCP deal attracts a 5.9 percent APR rate, but because the £7,499 price is so low, the total amount payable only goes up to £8,423 if you buy the car after four years – that’s still less than the cost of many rivals.

For those who can’t stretch to the £1,945 deposit, Suzuki has an alternative Celerio SZ2 deal – £131 a month for four years, with just a month’s finance payment required to drive away in a new car.

Suzuki Ignis

The funkier Ignis SZ3 SUV-style city car offers a £159 per month PCP deal with a £1,212 deposit; here, Suzuki also includes a year’s free insurance and three years’ free servicing.

Those who need more space can buy a Swift 1.0 Boosterjet SZ-T on a 0 percent APR PCP, with zero deposit, for £199 a month over four years. Also tempting is, for an extra £22 a month, the even better-equipped SZ5, which includes the SHVS mild hybrid system.

SUV fans can take a Vitara 1.6 petrol SZ-T for £199 a month, or an S-Cross crossover for £189 a moth, the latter including a £2,500 customer saving. Meanwhile, a Baleno SZ3 includes a £2,000 customer saving on a 5.9 percent APR; for an £813 deposit, it can be bought for £159 a month over four years.

Suzuki has also extended its new car scrappage scheme offer until the end of the year, with cash savings for owners of cars registered before the end of 2009. However, it cannot be combined with any of the other winter offers, which run until the end of 2017. For many, the deals offered by Suzuki elsewhere may thus actually look more tempting…
