He’ll be quizzed at Portcullis House at 1630h on Monday 12 October.
The session will focus on what actions Volkswagen Group is taking to fix the emissions violations that broke on September 22.
Also in attendance at 1630h will be SMMT chief executive Mike Hawes, who’ll give evidence on the wider motor manufacturing sector.
Later, at 1715h, secretary of state for transport Patrick McLoughlin MP will give evidence, along with representatives from the Department for Transport and the Vehicle Certification Agency.
They’ll be questions on “what steps the Government is taking to restore public confidence in the vehicle type approval testing regime”.
