MR’s Peter Burgess is currently in Spain driving the new Mercedes-Benz GLA – Merc’s Range Rover Evoque rival.
While we await his verdict, we thought we’d check out the finance deals the Stuttgart manufacturer is offering on its new mini-SUV.
And boy, they’re pretty impressive.
For £375 a month you could drive away in a high-spec Mercedes-Benz GLA 220 CDI 4×4 – and for that, you even get the AMG Line look, with 15mm lowered sports suspension and AMG bodystyling.
You also get the premium pack, which includes active park assist, bi-xenon headlights and heated seats, amongst over premium goodies. The 7-speed auto ’box is standard as well, as is Mercedes-Benz’s COMAND infotainment system.
The catch? Well it’s not the deposit – that’ll cost you just £4,369.63.
Only the final payment may raise eyebrows. After 36 monthly payments of £375, you’ll need to splash out £19,325 if you want to keep the car. Alternatively, just give it back and enjoy a change of car… better still, do what most PCP customers do and swap it for another new Merc.
Over the three years you’ll pay interest at a rate of 5.8% APR, and there is a mileage limit of 10,000 miles per annum. Yes, even the interest rate is fair and the mileage limit ample. There really is a lot to like here.
Come back soon, and we’ll tell you if it’s worth splashing out on the Mercedes-Benz GLA…
