The official Mercedes-Benz Museum is celebrating its rival BMW’s 100th birthday by offering BMW employees free access to the museum in order to remind the Bavarian upstarts who’s the daddy.
From March 8-13, BMW employees will be able to sample “130 years of automotive history” at the Stuttgart museum. The first 50 BMW employees to take up Mercedes-Benz’s kind offer will even be able to “partake of a Swabian speciality citing the double kidney shape of the signature BMW radiator grille.”
Mercedes-Benz Classic’s head of press and marketing, Ralf Glaser, said: “We warmly congratulate the globally renowned company BMW on its anniversary and invite all employees of BMW AG to discover the complete history of the automobile at the Mercedes-Benz Museum.”
BMW celebrates its 100th anniversary on March 7th, while Mercedes-Benz marks 130 years since it was founded by Karl Benz in 1886.
