Land Rover launches Barbour clothing range

LR_Barbour_Partnership_02Land Rover has teamed up with famous British brand Barbour to launch a new clothing range for Autumn and Winter 2014.

The collaboration is the first time Barbour and Land Rover have officially worked together, and will see a new range of ‘Barbour for Land Rover’ jackets, wool knits, accessories and luggage launched and sold through both Land Rover dealers and Barbour shops.

There are two ranges at launch: Country Lux and Black Label. The former is the traditional range, and includes a brand new tartan designed specially for use here.

Black Label is the country-city hybrid range, and includes knitware with “an exclusive black gloss trim pack”. Black line for clothes: you read it here first.

Barbour and Land Rover is a collaboration that fits so well, we’re almost surprised it hasn’t officially been done before now. Robin Colgan, Land Rover global brand director, agreed; “Both marques are revered for their all-terrain and all-weather resilience allowing customers to go about their business whatever the conditions.”

Barbour MD Steve Buck added that “there is a strong synergy between Barbour and Land Rover – we are both established British brands, renowned for our understated style and synonymous with the British countryside.”
