The money-saving Kia Scrappage scheme is continuing into 2019, the firm has announced, with savings of up to £3,000 on offer.
The Niro hybrid is offered with the full £3,000 saving, while the Kia Stonic (pictured above) is available with a £2,500 saving.
Those who scrap a car aged seven years or older (which they’ve owned for more than three months) can save £2,000 on Kia’s most affordable new car, the Picanto. All Kia Scrappage cars can be purchased on 5.9 percent APR finance.
For those after an even lower rate, a 2.9 percent APR deal is available on the Sportage and Ceed range, including the upcoming, World Car Awards 2019-shortlisted 201hp Ceed GT (and the Sportage 48v mild hybrid Motoring Research is running as a long-termer).
Although other Kias are offered on the higher 5.9 percent APR rate, PCP deposit contributions help offset the extra 3 percent.
One of the biggest finance deposit contributions is on the Kia Stinger, with up to £2,500 available.
Other deals include the Kia Hybrid Challenge. Test-drive a Niro Hybrid, Niro Plug-in Hybrid or Optima Plug-in Hybrid, and Kia will cut £1,000 from the list price if the tester then goes on to buy one.
Each of Kia’s 192 UK dealers will continue to run the Hybrid Challenge in 2019.
On selected SUVs, Kia is offering three free services to anyone who buys in January and registers before the end of March.
Two new special editions have been rolled out in time for 2019 too. The Stonic Mixx has orange accents inside and out, while the Picanto Wave has demin upholstery. Both special editions have a deposit contribution: £1,000 for the Picanto Wave and £1,500 for the Stonic Mixx.
