Honda UK has secured 50 more right-hand-drive NSX supercars for UK customers, which it plans to start delivering from mid-2018 onwards.
The new batch of 50 UK cars will join the current 100-strong British allocation of new NSX, which is already sold out (and already commanding premiums of more than £60,000 over the £150,000 list price on the secondhand market).
While the new allocation will shorten the waiting list a little, Honda says it is still 12 months: fitting, says Honda UK MD Dave Hodgetts, for a car that represents “the pinnacle of engineering for Honda”.
The firm has also appointed a second UK supplier and aftercare dealer: Chiswick Honda joins Hendon’s Crown Honda in supporting NSX sales and service.

“The confirmation of this fresh allocation to arrive in the UK next year will allow the die-hard fans that haven’t been able to get their hands on the latest NSX to finally get their wish,” said Hodgetts.
Although UK supplies are super-limited, Europe is still the leading export region for NSX sales; it is built in Marysville, Ohio, by a crack team of just 100 highly trained engineers.
