A German man has been hit with a fine after a fracas led to a 30cm sausage being lobbed at a car – causing a small dent on the BMW’s door.
German website The Local reports that a 49-year-old pedestrian took offence at the way the BMW had been parked in front of him and his eight-year-old son.
A row between two men took place, before the pedestrian threw the sausage at the car.
It’s thought that a metal clip at the end of the sausage caused the 1cm dent on the rear passenger side door.
Police said: “Police officials were called to duty in the Neubrandenburg Oststadt.
“The officials heard complaints of insults and threats between a 47-year-old and 49-year-old man.
“The 49-year-old threw a 30cm long sausage against the vehicle.”
Police are pursuing charges against both men and they could both face hefty fines.
It’s not known how old the BMW involved in the incident is – indeed, police are yet to confirm whether the vehicle is an old banger.
