Fiat will celebrate the original 1957 500 with a retro-look special edition called Vintage 57 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
The new limited-run model boasts period pastel paint, white roof, fantastic 50s-style 16-inch alloys and even 50s-look Fiat badges throughout.
Inside, the white finish continues, but it’s no back-to-basics post-war finish for this Fiat: tan leather seats are the clearest indicator of that.
The 500 Vintage ’57 also gets an anti-retro set of equipment including air con, Bluetooth, Fiat’s Blue&Me system, seven airbags and ESC with hill-holder brakes.
Following its Geneva Motor Show debut, the 500 Vintage ’57 will go on sale in the UK from April 2015, in both 1.2-litre (which hopefully now goes up hills) and 0.9-litre TwinAir petrol guise; prices will start from £12,545.
Indeed, the only thing that’s proudly anti-1950s is the price…
