Koenigsegg has confirmed it will reveal a new car at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show – and while it hasn’t revealed any details about the Agera RS yet, we can confirm one thing.
It will have more than 1,000hp.
That’s because even the basic Agera S boasts 1,030hp, with the Agera R taking this up to 1,140hp.
The fantastic Agera One:1 produces 1,340hp – a computer-breaking 1MW, no less! – making it the world’s first ‘megacar’.
So it’s take your pick from power: our tip is on combining the R’s 1,140hp powertrain with some of the lightweight kit from the One:1, to create a track-biased GT3-style hardcore Agera driver’s car.
After all, the Agera R can do 273mph and 0-186mph in 14.5 seconds, so it’s hardly crying out for any more power.
But the firm isn’t letting on just let, simply releasing a teaser of the new RS badge for now. Over to you, then: what would you like the tantalising-new Koenigsegg Agera RS to be? Share your ideas below…
