For the first time in the 60-year history of the Dodge Charger, British enthusiasts will officially be able to buy one.
Oxfordshire-based Unity Automotive has been appointed as the UK retailer for the eighth-generation Charger – and orders for the American muscle car can be placed now.
There is a catch, however, in that Dodge Chargers sold in the UK will come in left-hand drive only.
Even so, the prospect of owning a genuine Mopar muscle car, complete with turbocharged straight-six power, seems a tempting one.
The petrol-powered two-door Charger Sixpack will be the first model available, but the fully electric Daytona will follow later, along with the five-door liftback version.
Modern classic muscle for the UK

Built on the Stellantis ‘STLA Large’ platform, the latest Dodge Charger shares the same underpinnings as forthcoming replacements for the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia.
Originally launched in 2024 in battery-electric Daytona guise, accompanied by no shortage of controversy, Dodge added the petrol Sixpack models to its lineup in late 2025.
The wonderfully named ‘Hurricane’ twin-turbocharged straight-six powers the Charger Sixpack, with a choice between 420hp in R/T trim or 550hp in Scat Pack guise.
Although there is sadly no big-block V8 option, the Hurricane engine actually generates more torque than previous Hemi V8 motors.
All versions of the Dodge Charger Sixpack destined for the UK will come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
This includes a driver-selectable rear-wheel-drive mode, which sends 100 percent of the engine’s torque to the rear axle for classic muscle car burnouts.
Burnouts and drifting on the menu

In R/T specification, the Dodge Charger Sixpack can accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds, and cover a standing quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds.
Opting for the 550hp Scat Pack cuts the 0-60mph sprint to just 3.9 seconds, while shaving another 0.7 seconds from the quarter-mile time.
UK prices for the Charger will start at £70,000 for the R/T, with the Scat Pack retailing for £76,000.
Given the level of performance on offer, and the unique charm of a Mopar muscle car, the Charger will appeal to UK enthusiasts willing to overlook the challenges of a left-hand-drive layout.
Customers can configure their dream Charger with help from Unity’s team. Orders for the first batch of cars allocated to the UK are now open.
