MR week in review: 3 March 2018

2018 Porsche 911 GT3

In the big book of automotive journalistic clichés the Porsche 911 GT3 must surely tick off many of them in one go. From countless awards, to a never-ending string of superlatives associated with it, since 1999 the GT3 has seemed to be an almost unstoppable force. With such an incredible weight of expectation weighing upon it, delivering in a cold and wintery Britain is a huge test of the 911 GT3’s capabilities.

We have both a review and video of the GT3 in action, including doughnuts and drifting, giving a comprehensive decision on just how good the hardcore 911 is.

This week we’ve also seen the pricing revealed for the new Jaguar I-Pace EV, tested a brutal modified Mustang, and taken a look through the archives at everything from the Toyota Supra to the humble Ford Focus.

We have also looked ahead to the Geneva Motor Show, and we will be bringing you all the action live from the Palexpo convention centre show floor next week.
