Rock star Bryan Adams has designed a new ultra-limited Vauxhall/Opel Adam that the firm is now auctioning for charity.
Seven Bryan Adams Adam are being auctioned online now, with all proceeds going to the Bryan Adams Foundation.
The camouflage-look cars are all 100hp 1.4-litre models, with a bounty of standard equipment including heated leather seats, IntelliLink infotainment system and climate control. Rock stars like their luxuries, it seems.
Committed Vauxhall/Opel Adam fans may actually recognise the cars – they feature in the 2014 Opel calendar, for which the Bryan Adams Foundation took on artistic direction and photography duties. (As we speak, Karl Lagerfield and his cat are busy creating the 2015 calendar)
Bryan Adams himself appears to have been unavailable for comment, but Opel’s chief marketing officer Tina Muller has apparently enjoyed a direct line to him. “Bryan Adams told me a lot about his foundation during the shooting for our Adam calendar,” she said.
“Amongst others, the foundation is working on new learning opportunities in Afghanistan or global environmental projects. We wholeheartedly support these activities and would be delighted if our camouflage ADAMs achieve the highest possible proceeds.”
The Bryan Adams Adam auction is open until 21 November. Keen to bid? Check out www.unitedcharity.de/opeladam
