If the idea of a buying a giant TV or upgraded smartphone on Black Friday just isn’t enough, car manufacturers and dealerships have got plenty of deals to tempt you with.
Many promotions are running for longer than just Black Friday, but make sure you check the end date. All deals are subject to availability, so it’s worth making contact with a local dealer if you are interested.
Forget a few days of deals, as Abarth is offering up ‘Scorpion Month’ packed with promotions on the brand’s sporty range. These offers are aimed chiefly at Personal Contract Hire (PCH) and Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) customers.
An Abarth 124 Spider could be yours on PCH for an initial rental of £2,985, followed by 23 months of £199 payments.
There is also the chance to collect a further £595 discount, should you test drive an Abarth 595 and place an order, before the end of ‘Cyber Monday’ on 26th November.
Although manufacturers may not have specific Black Friday offers in place, this doesn’t stop dealerships from offering their own promotions.
For example, Alexanders Alfa Romeo is promoting a £3,250 deposit contribution for those purchasing a Mito on a four-year PCP deal. With a customer deposit of £3,100.33, that means monthly payments of £179 for the ageing Italian hatchback.
If you’re interested in the Stelvio SUV, don’t forget that Alfa Romeo will be partnering with Amazon to offer test drives directly to your door in certain locations. Sadly it won’t arrive packaged in an Amazon cardboard box though.
Whilst Audi has no specific Black Friday offers in place, certain dealerships are still getting in on the act.
Sytner Audi dealerships are offering an additional £500 discount for any new Black Edition car ordered or bought from stock, between 23rd and 26th November. This ranges from the Q7 SUV, down to the A3 hatchback.

Citroen doesn’t want you to stress over Black Friday, so is hosting a range of deals lasting from the 5th to the 30th of November. How relaxing.
Take advantage of an existing finance offer, place an order before the 30th November, and you’ll receive two services for just £99.
This includes the C1, C3, and even the recently refreshed C4 Cactus. Sadly Black November doesn’t include the return of Airbumps for the latter.
It’s not just cars which are big business on Black Friday, but commercial vehicles are also involved too. Fiat Professional has an array of offers aimed at van drivers, based upon the Sportivo trim level.
Sportivo means metallic black paint, red body stripes, air conditioning and satellite navigation as standard. This applies to the Fiorino, Doblo, Talento and Ducato vans.
The finance part of the deal means a 50 percent reduction in the initial rental payment required for a 48-month business contract hire deal. Orders need to be placed before 7th December to qualify.
Lookers Ford has a special Black Event on the entire range of Ford cars, including the all-new Focus and even the Mustang. Free servicing for two years is included for any car bought as part of the promotion.
Opt for a Focus 1.0 EcoBoost in Titanium trim, and receive a £2,151.91 deduction from the list price. On a PCP deal for 38 months, that means an initial deposit of £299, followed by monthly payments of £299.
The biggest saving can be found on the Grand C-Max, with over £6,200 slashed from the list price.
Hyundai, Read Motor Group

‘Don’t follow the herd’ is the message from Jaguar this Black Friday, despite the company being on trend with a range of hefty finance deposit contributions for this weekend’s Black Event.
Even the new E-Pace crossover receives up to £3,000 in finance deposit contributions, whilst the F-Type and XJ have savings of up to £13,000 possible! There is also 20 percent off Jaguar accessories, and 15 percent off any Jaguar merchandise purchased online.
It seems only fitting that an American brand should offer a Black Friday event, and Jeep certainly doesn’t disappoint. In fact, this promotion lasts all the way until the end of the year. So if you wake up on Christmas Day disappointed not to find a new Renegade on your drive, you’ll still have time to sort it out.
There is 0 percent APR available on finance deals, plus deposit contributions of up to £2,500 for the Renegade and Compass. Buyers also get a three-year servicing package, plus a five-year roadside assistance warranty.
Just like stablemate Jaguar, Land Rover also has a Black Event running across the course of the weekend.
Again this centres on deposit contributions, with up to £5,515 taken from the Range Rover Velar. If you’re hankering for one of the outgoing Evoque models, there is the chance for a £5,500 contribution there.
The 20 percent discount on accessories, and 15 percent from Land Rover Collection merchandise also applies here.
More commercial vehicle discount action can be had from Mercedes-Benz. For 2018 there is an actual special edition version of the X-Class pickup going on sale for Black Friday.
The X-Class Storm edition boasts extra kit and fancy external graphics. Commercial users can place an initial rental deposit of £2,694, then pay £449 a month for the three years.
The Vito Sport van also receives extra attention on Black Friday, with £500 of added extras included.
Just like any good Black Friday deal, Peugeot is actually letting buyers order without needing to leave the sofa. In fact, order online and you’ll receive free home delivery, worth up to £100.
Aside from free delivery, the Black Friday event features enhanced deposit contribution offers, and finance at 5.9 percent APR. All cars can also be had on Peugeot’s ‘Just Add Fuel’ programme.
The finance deposit contributions range from £850 on the 108 Collection, through to a sizeable £4,000 for the 308 SW Active.
Caffyns Skoda in East Sussex is hosting a week-long Black Friday event, running from the 23rd to 30th November.
Centred on finance deposit contributions, there is up to £1,250 available for buyers of Kodiaq SUVs with diesel engines, and even £1,000 for the popular Karoq.
Winter is coming, which means the idea of a Subaru with all-wheel-drive might start to sound rather appealing.
For Black Friday this year, Subaru has 0 percent APR finance deals available for the XV crossover and the Impreza hatchback. Opt for a 2017 model-year Outback estate, and you’ll receive a substantial £5,500 contribution towards your finance deposit.
The German giant is ‘entering into the spirit’ of Black Friday, although we presume that doesn’t include fighting in a local supermarket over a discounted TV.
