Bentley opens huge six-floor showroom in Dubai

Bentley has today opened its biggest dealership ever – a huge six-floor showroom in a wealthy area of the United Arab Emirates.

The 75,000 square foot showroom is located on the prestigious Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and even has a “specialised water feature with number plate recognition”.

The flagship dealership is the result of a multi-million pound investment by Bentley’s UAE partner, Al Habtoor Motors.

Further highlights include a personal commissioning area, a roof garden and a VIP suite.

Speaking at the official opening, Stephen Reynolds, Regional Director, Middle East and Asia Pacific at Bentley Motors, said: “Bentley Emirates gives our customers in the UAE a bold, clear and contemporary interpretation of our vision and brand values.

“It is a visualisation of the most exclusive customer experience. With the help of our retail partner, Al Habtoor Motors, we have redefined the automotive retail environment, blending traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design to showcase the best of British luxury performance.”

The firm says the new showroom features “one of the world’s most advanced luminary façades,” comprising 160,000 LED lights. It’s able to display a full spectrum of colours, including all standard Bentley car colours and can even stream video.

And that water feature with number plate recognition? It can welcome regular Bentley customers to the showroom by projecting any type of graphic, from a car to a person’s name, onto a water sculpture. Magic.

Customers can personalise their cars in the The Mulliner Room, which exhibits some of the unique features commissioned by Bentley owners in the past and represents more than 100 paint colours.

A “uniquely British feel” has been created, Bentley says, with every feature in the showroom created using the same materials as used in its cars – so only the best leather, wood and polished metals.

The showroom features four floors of display area, giving plenty of room to show the latest Bentley models – including the new Bentayga SUV, a sure-fire hit in Dubai.
