Bentley has revealed a new race-inspired Continental GT3-R limited edition road car that is based on the GT V8 S but is lighter, more powerful, faster and more dynamic than ever.
The limited-to-300 GT3-R boasts a 580hp output from its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, while the car itself has lost 100kg. That’s not quite as much as the 1,000kg shed by the race car, but still ensures performance is rapid: 0-62mph takes just 3.8 seconds.
Bentley has also introduced a new torque vectoring system for the first time, creating what it claims is the most dynamic Bentley road car in history. It will, confirms the firm, receive its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month.
