The Audi Q3 compact SUV has a fresh face for 2017 with tweaked details, new colour range and upgraded trims hoping to keep it fresh in the face of competition from BMW’s impressive new X1.
Audi’s also launching a sporty-look new model called the S line competition, which gets a racier front end including larger air inlets, a stone grey grille and body-colour centre inlet blade. The air inlets themselves have diamond-pattern grilles, there’s a new strut dividing the front skirt and there’s contrast-black trim throughout.

Check the gloss black rear bumper detail, black rear spoiler and, yes, black wheelarch extensions.
Inside, there’s more terror for a certain Fast Show character, with piano black inlays and a black roofliner. Seats are black leather and Alcantara, with S line logos embossed in: stainless steel pedals also feature.
The engine range is unchanged from regular Q3 (choose from any unit in the range, including the sprightly downsized 1.4 TFSI petrol), but Audi has fitted S line sport suspension as standard on the S line competition: you can also get 19-inch Audi Sport alloys.
And for all those who hate the current Tundra Brown rejoice: Audi has deleted it from the range. It’s instead replaced it with a new colour called Camouflage Green, which itself sounds… interesting.
