Luckily, the building was evacuated before the floor collapsed; there’s now a cordon around the Jardine Motors Group Audi dealer.

The dealer group says it is “currently investigating the cause of the collapse and the extent of the damage”.

In the meantime, it has enacted a ‘Business Continuity Plan’ to continue providing services to customers.

It is now contacting all customers affected by the incident – including owners whose cars have been damaged in the floor collapse.
