Aston Martin has teamed up with a property developer to build a 66-floor block of luxury apartments in an upmarket area of Miami.
Yes – the British sports car manufacturer is attempting to boost its upmarket image by working with G and G Business Developments to build “a unique waterfront real estate project at the mouth of the Miami River”.

The block of flats (sorry, apartments) at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way will be one of the city’s most prestigious developments, says Aston Martin, when it opens in five years time.
The interior will be designed by Aston Martin’s design team under the watch of Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman.
There’ll be two private lobbies, a two-level fitness centre with sea views, and a fully-serviced spa.
In total, there’ll be around 390 residences, including seven penthouses and a duplex penthouse – all of which will have their own private pool and spacious terrace. The rest of the apartments will range from one to four-bed properties.
VP Aston Martin and managing director AM Brands, Katia Bassi, said: “This remarkable new venture realises our long-term vision of entering the world of luxury real estate, and is a natural extension of the Aston Martin brand.
“We create beautiful cars for those who appreciate automotive fine art, and we are excited to extend our expertise in design and craftsmanship into a project of this calibre. Such ventures enable us to further enhance and grow the brand into new aspects of the luxury world that appeal to both our existing and future customers.”
Apparently there’ll be elements of Aston Martin throughout the development – including doors featuring bespoke Aston handles and number plinths.
Reception desks in the lobby will be feature craftmanship from the firm’s halo products, apparently, while an exclusive yacht marina will allow residents to enjoy easy access to the waters of Miami.
The firm hasn’t said anything about whether it’s planning an upmarket underground garage for the apartments.
