Approved Used Jaguar Land Rover scheme now ‘truly competitive’

Jaguar Land Rover supplies cars for NATO summitJaguar Land Rover has updated its approved used scheme with a set of enhancements that the firm believes makes it one of the most competitive in the premium car sector.

New features for the 2015 Approved Used Programme for Jaguar and Land Rover include a two-year unlimited mileage warranty, 165-point check and damage warranty up to the price paid for the car by the used buyer.

The firm does stipulate cars must be less than five years old and have covered fewer than 100,000 miles to get this full package of enhanced benefits, though.

There’s also a 30-day, 1,000-mile exchange policy, MOT cover and seven-day drive-away insurance package. Used Land Rover buyers even get half a day’s off-roading at a Land Rover Experience centre.

JLR UK MD Jeremy Hicks said, “Our new Approved Used Programme is truly competitive and we believe that the enhancements we’ve made here demonstrate our commitment to our customers.

“Whether buying a new car for business or for personal use, or from our enhanced Approved Used scheme, we are confident the service standards we’ve set ourselves are highly competitive and highly desirable.”
